Computer Repairs Mississauga – CSD Computers

Hello Y’all,

Today’s topic of discussion is related to a computer having no power.

We get a large number of personal and business computers that have no power. Most of the time this is caused by a defective or broken power supply. I will discuss from our experience the main causes of this.

Other than the power supply just running its course there are two main triggers to brake your power supply. 1) Dust(dirt, hair, animal hair) and 2) Low or High voltage electrical surges.

The ways to prevent these triggers is for Dust is to clean your power supply refer to this previous post

1) To deal with the low or high voltage electrical surges I would suggest to purchase a UPS(uninteruptable power supply) for you computer system.

2) The benefit of having a UPS is that it will keep your power supply in your computer from crashing or losing power during power outages, and will protect your computer power supply from low and high voltage occurrences.

Follow these two tips and this will help you maintain a healthy computer.

Take Care,
